About Us
What is Sportsvite?
Sportsvite is a different kind of social network. Sportsvite is all about organizing and managing your sports so you can get off the computer and play! We are passionate about playing sports so we strive to make both of those things easier for you to get out and play sports.
We're a squad of sports enthusiasts who think the web is a natural activity partner. We are dedicated to building a site that makes connecting with other athletes and organizing and managing your sports fun and easy.
Say goodbye to long email chains and phone tag. Now you can manage your sports life in one place without the hassle.
So what's next?
Folks who are new to the site can either dive right in or first take a tour to find out what Sportsvite is all about. When you're ready to start playing, sign up and join the Sportsvite community. If you have some suggestions or thoughts about the site, let us know! We always have an open ear to our community.
Meet the team.
Sportsvite is made up of some impressive players. We have a squad of managers, designers and developers who know their stuff inside and out, both on and off the field.
-
A wildly successful and handsome semi-pro athlete, Clint specializes in shark scams at various pool halls and golf courses – although he prefers to be referred to as an entrepreneur.
Clint oversees all things creative at Sportsvite. He is an honors graduate from Boston University College of Communications and the founder of the award-winning design firm Balcom & Nobody.

Ken doesn't do bios. He's too busy. We've asked him a few times to give us a run down, but he's just too swamped all the time.
We do know that he drives Product Management at Sportsvite. That involves a lot of stuff, and generally keeps him quite busy.

Bob is a true believer in trying to stay fit and active. He does not appreciate being passed on the running trail, unless the passer is on two wheels.
Bob is an experienced software engineer and works closely with the CTO on feature development and engineering management. Bob holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Virginia, and a Master's in Information Systems from the University of California, Berkeley.

Kirk loves to play sports when he's not nerding it out on the computer. He's a huge baseball, football, and college basketball fan, and loves to get out and play when he can. When he's not playing or programming, you can find him at Nationals Park or Fedex Field cheering on his hometown squads.
Kirk is part of the team making Sportsvite an even awesome-er spot to find players, games, and teams. Kirk has a B.B.A. in Computer Information Systems and Economics from James Madison University.

Erik prefers a very loose definition of 'sport' which, for him, ranges from Wii tennis to CSS debugging to competitive couch surfing. He also provides comic relief for Sportsvite's softball team by simply attempting to play.
Erik's mission is to unite Sportsvite with the world's athletes in perfect harmony. With that in mind he spends his days rocking out the UI for collaboration projects with partners and clients. He has a B.S. in Print Journalism from Boston University.

Brian “Jake Taylor” Litvack
Director, Marketing & Business Development Brian's Bio · Brian's ProfileBrian is your typical lefty dead-pull hitter who likes the ball low and inside and tries to take advantage of the short right field fences at many NYC softball fields just because he is too lazy to run the bases.
Brian oversees the Sportsvite community through strategic business development, forming recreational league and sport organization partnerships, and managing Sportsvite's college intern program. Brian holds a B.B.A. (C.I.S. and Marketing) from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
-
Steven is too busy getting Sportsvite useful contextual ads and sponsorships to be writing bios.
-
Steve likes any sport that'll let him get away from computers for a while. Faced with the risk of being permanently cast into the digital world, Steve quickly realized that building a site like this could very well be his best (and last) chance for staying fit and active.
Steve oversees the product and engineering teams, and is obsessively focused on improving Sportsvite's ability to plan, build and operate great products. Steve holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.
-
Bryan is pretty new to the team and hasn't had time to write up a bio.
He's too busy managing all the client and partner projects Sportsvite has. Go Bryan!

Neal is often mistaken for Derek Jeter by those people who aren't wearing glasses. Most weekends this Spring, you'll see him barking orders to his softball team in the Bronx.
Neal is responsible for new business development with leagues, locations and large sport organizations. He holds a B.S. in International Economics from the Walsh School at Georgetown University.
Looking to Join the Team?
Sportsvite is always on the prowl for new talent. Our scouts are constantly on the lookout for some solid people, but we know there's always a "ringer" waiting in the wing. If you're interested in joining Sportsvite, drop us a line.
Can't get enough sports?
We strongly believe in keeping open communication with the community. Just like we want to hear from Sportsvite's members, we also do our best to let you all know what we're up to. We believe in it so much, that we have two blogs! Our community blog, wRECk Sports is about everything going on in the world of recreational sports and all the latest news/tidbits about our partners.
The other blog, the Product Blog, keeps you up to date on everything happening with the site, from new features we add to bugs we fixed.
